INFLATION TARGET PRESS RELEASE

The Board of Directors of Banco de la República reiterates that its inflation target is 3.0%, within a range between 2.0% and 4.0%.

The Board will continue to carefully monitor the behavior of inflation and the forecasts for inflation and economic activity in the country, as well as the international context.

Finally, the Board reiterates that monetary policy actions taken so far are compatible with the process of convergence of inflation to its 3.0% target, and aim at achieving this target in coordination with the general economic policy.
