PURCHASE/SALE OF FOREIGN CURRENCY AND TES, AND TES PORTFOLIO OF BANCO DE LA REPÚBLICA

Banco de la República reports that it did not perform any purchase or sale of foreign currency in June 2017.

During the same month, the Central Bank performed final purchases of TES B for $401.0 billion (at market price value). At the end of June 2017, the balance of the bonds in its possession was COP$10,144.8 billion pesos (at market price value).

The Central Bank's portfolio (expressed in nominal values) is made up of TES denominated in Colombian pesos ($8,739.8 billion) and TES denominated in UVR (UVR1.6 billion - COP$405.9 billion). There are no maturities of TES held by the Central Bank in July 2017.
